Reasons to move back to France:
Because of cheese
Because of bread
Because my family would be far, far away (and French people don’t have guns)
Because I’d have to leave my possessions behind
Because of the Eiffel Tower
Because I wouldn’t watch American tv all the time
Because of public transportation
Because I’d be so much thinner and less lazy
Because my French would get better
Because of Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich
Reasons not to move back to France:
Because of my iphone
Because I’d be single/celibate for life (French men are weird, though I might be headed to nuntown anyway, being surrounded by American men)
Because I don’t have a job over there (though I don’t have a job over here, either)
Because of student loans
Because it would be impossible to get a PhD in English (or possibly just stupid)
Huh. Not a very big con list. I’m moving to New York first, but after that, I may never come back.
