A graphic about America’s Most Expensive Restaurants (via Gadling): I’m surprised that Del Posto is on there and I wonder why they left out Masa!
After reading this, I feel like I am too accustomed to New York $$$ goggles because my jaw doesn’t drop open after seeing the prices. After all, this is the land of $16 laundry detergent (I’m not even talking about the fancy stuff!).
New York, future home, you’re going to break me, aren’t you? You’re going to take away my love, aren’t you? I’m so used to being a poor graduate student that I can’t ever imagine having the money for even the prix fixe meals. I can’t imagine having that kind of a job.

Wow. Wow. I don’t know whether to be more alarmed by these prices or by the $16 laundry detergent. Wow.
