CAN’T HUG EVERY CAT - a song about loving cats

This is basically the dramatic version of both my roommate and my best friend. Both are married. Maybe I should let my inner cat lover out, if I don’t want to be single for life.

A purring Gretchen next to me on the couch is too much to handle. I just want to snuggle, not grade. Everyone gets an A, right?

Eliot is trying to eat my hair. I’m tired and want to cry. And I really am ready to graduate.

Happy Caturday! I don’t know if I could explain how much I love this cat, who just lay on me purring when it was time to get up. Eliot likes to jump on the bathroom sink and stare at himself in the mirror—and then he meows at his reflection. He makes me laugh—and sometimes wonder if I shouldn’t meow at myself in the mirror, too, as if to approve of my reflection, too.

I’m afraid I’m already in Crazy Cat Lady Land. Help me. I’m only 29.
